I have a similar dog that is the same, called Zac, and my other one, Billy is just as gorgeous! I kno what you're going through, i have had it with a lot of my dogs, Sandy, Buster, Bouncer, and Sheba, who i'd had since i was 5 until i was 12, i am now only 14 and i still think about her! Sheba was the only thing that stuck by me when i had a big change; moving from scotland to england. Comments Ben was a very lucky dog to have an owner like you. I was looking for pictures of Germain Shepereds when I came across your page. I couldn't get past the first page. It was just too sad. (In a good way) Eventhough I am only 12, I am a very big animal lover. Even the ten commandments made me want to cry. Only true love lasts forever. I think that was and still is true love. He will always be with you even if you can't see him, he will be with you in your heart and mind. I believe you will see him agin, someday.

Comments I stopped by your page and know how you must have felt...I just lost my best friend Darcey two weeks ago and it's so hard...Darcey died in her sleep...only 9 years and 8 months old...she had arthritis in her back and hips...the x rays were terrible... I bought her from a breeder who claimed that there were no hip problems in her line but had I suspected something, I would've had her hips x-rayed...Three months before she died, she began to drag her hind quarters around...One day she got sick so we brought her to the vet and he thought that she was just sick...the next day she was dead...The one thing that I learned from this is that we dog lovers must be grateful for sharing the life of an animal..a best friend with that unconditional love that they feel... too bad humans couldn't learn from them... Ben must have been a wonderful dog... and just like my Darcey they are waiting for us in that field by the Rainbow Bridge... we can only hope!!!! Take care!!
